- I keep trying to make 2000's New York into 1960s France. I haven't been entirely successful...yet. I'm having the second psychedelic period of my life, especially thanks to the good people of Turkey. I collect 60s soul and garage records--just like everyone else! I dig international psych comps and weirdo regional US garage comps. There is an amazing record from Akron, Ohio, that has a scratch-and-sniff cover of RUBBER TIRES on it and the smell is so acrid you want to throw up through your nostrils, yet, you must carry on with the sniffing.
