- The Foreign Characters is a garage/folk/psychedelic band which was born from an acoustic project started by George (ex-singer/guitar from A Sako! and ex-trumpet from El Círculo de Willis ). Back in 2008, he started composing songs with a base of guitar and harmónica while Carlos (ex-drummer from Back On) helped with the bass.
The project evolved and the music moved towards more upbeat rhythms while the influence of years of listening to Rock'n'Roll, Garage and Surf music started to show. At that point it was clear a drummer was needed and after the band's first acoustic concert (in which a friend, Javi el Canario helped by playing the Cajón) , Iván Güevo (drummer from El Círculo de Willis, The Gambas and The Locos) a long time friend approached the band and became its drummer.
Since then, the band has recorded a short demo and are looking forward to playing live as much as possible!
