Bio:
The LUNGS started working together in 2009 and consist of 4 like-minded musicians from other bands and music styles. The LUNGS came together very quickly, centered around the period of the early 1970's that evolved into, and would define American punk rock. This would be the springboard for all the material The LUNGS would write.

The LUNGS are:
drums/vocals: Hands Jake
bass /vocals: Napoleon Tornapart
guitar/vocals: Tek Hellhound
guitar/vocals: Allan Battalion

May 1, 2010 was a bad day for The LUNGS when one of the guitar players and founding members, was found (by the rest of the band) hanging from the ceiling of his apartment. This was, needless to say, a devastating time and the world seemed to stand still for months after. This painful experience would later be channeled into a frenzy of songwriting and rehearsal sessions that would give way to the studio recording of The LUNGS first record entitled "Vermin." This is a live studio recording and is a "Raw Power" approach to record making. It reflects what The LUNGS are as a band and is an accurate and unapologetic view of what we do and represent. It is as you hear that it is; in all it's dirty, messy old-school punk rock glory.

Your album sounds like some rad international version of the MC5, I felt like I was listening to something someone totally over looked from the good old day's of early punk.
