- THE NACKERS are a 2 pieces band formed in Dublin in 2007 by the Italian wasters Skanger Wan and the Nacker (a.k.a. Luca Cascino: E.X.P., ZOT!, Cabernet Voltaire...). The Nackers recorded their first 7" in their heice trailer in 2008. It was released in December 2007 by VJR (Spa) /Bubca records (Ita). The record called "the Ultra Twist meet the Nackers" is a split and contains two songs by the Nackers and two songs by the Italian garage band the Ultra Twist. In 2007-2008 the Nackers played several shows in Europe together with well known garage punk bands like the Damned, the Ultra Twist, Go Getters, Spellbound, the Urges, the Revellions and many more. In February 2008, the Nacker and Skanger Wan left their Irish Knackers travelers to move to New York city where they recorded their first single. The 7" is now released by the Greek record label Fuzz Overdose containing the two hits "Banana Boats" and "SheÂ’s a birrova trump".
