Profile Information

Location:
Hollywood, CA
Relationship Status:
Married
Bio:
The Masons is Revved up Trash rock from the gut of Americana fueled by White lightnin , dirt weed and vitamin C. Bar-b-que sauce, sweat, and tears.Like CCR on PCP The masons began in a moldy basement of a house on the stateline between Shit kickin country Kansas and the dirty blues of Kansas City, Missouri. The band became an adolescent in, the Masons first bassist, Divo Garcia’s garage in North Hollywood, California. It was I don’t know 98 or 99 or something. Five albums, eight European tours,
and six years later the band took a break after a tour in 2005 that lasted four years. Now we are back and as bitchy and moany as ever. We got a real chip on our shoulder this time, a real bad attitude about life in
general.Crime stories of the Old South, swamp gas, hotel detectives, getting drunk on cold medicine, sweaty sex, cross eyed hill billies, bull frogs, teenage love, opiates, love of opiates, and long haul freeway trucking. Our tunes read like a cheap paperback novel.
Favorite Music/Influences (list some bands, musicians, genres, etc.):
MC5, Flamin Groovies, Gun Club, New York Dolls, Hank Williams Sr, Doug Sahm, The KInks, Humble Pie, Mountain, Groundhogs, Sabbath, Howlin Wolf, Son House, The Stranglers, The Sonics, 13th Floor Elevators, etc.

"This sounds like a huge task, but is there any way that you can create and post a podcast recording of this playlist?  Or maybe do it in sections, and narrate it? "
