Hiya. Have to be honest with you, I don't really know much myself, from what I've seen in record stores it's just all the new albums and a few popular oldies (The Ramones, Sex Pistols, etc.). Speaking of venues and gigs, I think you should check out Galway. There's a decent gig every once in a while, mostly local bands from Galway or from around Ireland but a few foreign bands have played in the past and MDC (Millions of Dead Cops) are having a gig in Galway this summer, i think it was sometime in August. Some people call Galway the 'hardcore capital of Ireland' because of the amount of gigs and bands from that city. It's pretty great, I'm sure there's a lot on in Dublin as well, it's just ages away from me and I rarely ever go there so I couldn't tell you much, haha.
Hope that helped :)

Hey, I wasn't sure if you'd heard about our Hideout comp series. The deadline passed to be included on one of the first five volumes, but I'm still taking submissions for a 6th volume. Check that discussion thread for more details and instructions. Then share an original with us on our SoundCloud drop box! Thanks.
