Music and trash film obsessive from the Midwest. I like loud rock n' roll, cheap beer, zombies, and fixing computers. I do a podcast called Random Old Records. You can also follow me on Twitter: http://twitter.com/randomrecs
Power pop, punk, psychedelic, bubblegum and soft psych, garage, vintage r&b, funk, '90s alternative, and a smattering of indie rock, noise and hardcore. Could list a thousand favorites, but right now I'm all about Baby Shakes, Submarine Races, The Gories, Thee Headcoats, Pearlene, 20th Century Tokyo Princess, Personal & The Pizzas, King Tuff, Teengenerate, Zeke, Bobby Ubangi, The Yolks, Hunx & His Punx, Gentleman Jesse & His Men, Visqueen, An Albatross, Curtis Mayfield. The Cynics, Mystery Girls, Paul Revere & The Raiders, and Jay Reatard. Spanky & Our Gang and Manic Street Preachers might be my favorite bands of all time.
Anything with gratuitous violence and/or nudity, with an emphasis on trashy exploitation and horror movies of the '70s. Female Convict Scorpion 701, Dawn Of The Dead, The Psychopath, Suspiria, Blue Eyes Of The Broken Doll, The Devil At Your Heels, The Black Gestapo, Homebodies, Network, The Wild Bunch, This Is Spinal Tap, High Fidelity, Hedwig & The Angry Inch, Breaking Glass, The Divine Enforcer, Martin, Ginger, Dolemite, Ilsa: She Wolf Of The SS, and loads more.

Random Old Records Podcast #27
This one features the best songs I heard in the year 2010, and features sizzling tracks from The Strange Boys, Ty Segall, Bare Wires, Best Coast, Frankie Rose & The Outs, The Black Angels, Sleepy Sun, Nobunny, The Sugar Stems, and a whole lot more! 2010 was one of the best years for music in recent memory, so I'm sure there's at least four or five songs on here that will become your new favorites!
