We did go over the border for a day trip to Seattle though so got to see a little bit of the States, spent way too much in the outlets. It wasn't cold at all actually, we pretty much had temperatures between 23 and 27 Degrees Celsius. I heard it gone down pretty low about two days after we went back into the UK so I guess we were lucky we were there at the right time. Definitely going back next year though.
