Ad Revenues from the Hideout to go 100% towards Duchenne muscular dystrophy research

In case you're not aware, a little over a week ago my wife Gina and I announced that we are pregnant with our second son, who is due in late February. We also made it known that, while we are very excited about his impending arrival, we were also anxiously awaiting DNA test results that would let us know if he tests positive for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Gina is a carrier of Duchenne and two of he… Continue

Hey Mr K
Thanks for pointing out that school boy error of mine! I've changed the link on vol. 14 Halloween, Trick or Treat? to a direct link to the show episode. See if it works for you and I'll change all the others as well.
Thanks for the advice, hope you enjoy the shows, next show coming in 3 weeks or so.

Same last name, yes. But I am guessing that I had it first. I don't mind sharing...I have an extra one lying around since my ex-wife gave hers back (heh).

My 'people' are from the Bronx, going back awhile...

Thanks! Confusion -- that's the story of my life. I'll definitely check out the podcasts as I'm sure there's a lot of amazing music available. I'm also hoping to reconnect with some of the guys from the old (late) MSN Psychedelic Punk group -- still have some of the cool CDs they made me! (My new iMac is much appreciative too). Thanks again and keep us rockin'!!

In answer to your question about podcasts in China, some work and some don't. To use the social network you have to use a proxy. All blogs and a lot of websites like youtube and pretty much anything else interesting are blocked in China. I think you would have to know English to know about the proxy.

No one really knows about the garagepunk in China anyhow, but I have joined forces with an international crew of Chinese, Japanese, French and Americans in Shanghai who want to get some kind of garage scene in China started. We have the only garagepunk band in China at the moment and we are making a recording which should be out soon.

We will try to spread the word about this site. Just trying to get some more people into good rock n roll.
