- glad yer cockles've been warmed guv'n'r. funny you should say that! i thought you looked familiar too. i played in a really crap band called "welfare heroine" with dele fadele of the nme back in the late 80's. or perhaps you saw me busking in leicester sq. i did that for years! i was one of the first to play fuzzed out guitars in the tube( through a little tranny radio), and then everybody started getting those portable peavey amps. i was a right slag, i've been around, so it could have been anywhere, dingwalls, electric ballroom, the fridge, kentish town, the world's end... the list is endless. but the important thing is we made each other's acquaintance now. and for that, i am truly grateful. there are few truly good ones left. take care your your royal muckness, and to quote the immortal bard(billy bragg)... "that's the way i am, heaven help me...."
