wow! your liverpool adventure sounds fun. what a feeling it must have been to be standing in those places and taking everything in. i can see why donovan's still on your playlist. we never get sick of him, do we?! been listening to gary walker (rain album) and the three downliner's sect albums lately. there was about 4 or 5 pa comp albums i don't have. after some digging, i found someone who had 3 out of a 4 series. think i know someone with the 4th who also has some barclay singles for me so i think i can complete that. they're pretty rare and when one surfaced on ebay not too long ago, it went for triple digits. sent alot of stuff out to a u.k. friend who was interested in some pa singles i had. he wanted that garage/funk type sound. it took some time for me to do the transfers and get everything together. if you remember my remodel project, i'm just now starting to get stuff up on the shelves. it's so monotonous putting order to chaos, but so necessary to find stuff. looking to transfer out of my current job to a different area. i've been in a bit of busy mode lately, but there's always time for the tunes! here's some strangers i think you'll really like. they're the best aussie british influenced band. right up your beatle alley.
Hi Maurice!
Glad you're still around here.
Noticed a while back that you stopped my'spacing.
What have you been listening to lately?
I'm having a fun time getting my music in some sort of order so it's fun playing stuff that hasn't got a listen in a while.
Talk soon, J
Heard Sunshine Superman today and thought of you.

I think I've been turned off my soul kick now for awhile. Not permanently, just until I get over losing the Willie Jones 45 I've wanted since... forever. It finally came up and went for $202.50 on ebay. My highest was $200! Thanks for the tip on Ace/Kent. Definitely will check that out. In the meantime, maybe you can suggest some Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings to add to my collection?
I've stumbled upon this site many times in my Google searches for hard to find records. What's the story? Is it good, legit, etc.? Does anyone recommend any alternatives?

In the early morning, the castle stirs & I'm awake.
My faves on Tangerine Dream are Flight from Ashya, title track (of course), Mr. Small & Sky Children. Did you get on to Fairfield Parlour yet?
