Steamroller 'Jack is a project born in Antequera (SPAIN) in January 2009 with the intention of bring together four old friends: David Onion Rings, Dr. Pepper Basil, Juanito Pussycat and Cow Mario, who previously had been part of other bands that are not projected beyond the rehearsal room: MIK and Out of Step. The band decided to make small changes in the roles that had come to play in these bands. The main change being that of Dr. Pepper Basil, guitarist MIK, which now becomes drummer. Meanwhile, David Onion Rings, which was in charge of the drum in MIK and Out of Step, is now the singer.
From the begining, is commitment to a style close to punk rock and where, no doubt looking for the forcefulness. This style, passing through the filter of each of the members of Steamroller 'Jack becomes at a cocktail where you will find everything: punk, rock and roll, garage, hard rock, hardcore and all that originates from a time line stretching from the twenties until today. The group begins cover versions of some of his favorite bands like New Bomb Turks, Demolition 23, Urge Overkill, Zeke, Alice Cooper, Supersuckers, Rocket From The Crypt, The Yardbirds, or Social Distortion, among others.
In June 2010, the band joined Tex Mex Momo training who, with his guitar, provides greater forceful sound, leaving the band as follows: David Onion Rings to the voice, Dr. Pepper Basil on drums, Juanito Pussycat plays bass, and Cow Mario and Tex-Mex Momo play the guitars.
Nowadays, Steamroller 'Jack has played four times being the place of presentation of the band the well-known pub Le Bistrot. The intention of the band is to continue to give
many concerts as possible for any place of world geography, starting, of course, by his country, Spain.
Currently the steamroller is composing their own songs in order to enter recording studio before the winter of 2010.
