Michigan Rock And Roll Legends

Hi all. Tonto and the Renegades and 2 of our songs are up for induction into Michigan Legendary Rock Songs and the band into the Michigan Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The voting is going into the final stages and we need your votes. At this time, we are 4th in votes for induction into the HOF, and our 2 songs are in 4th spot in the Legenday Songs side of the process. This year the voting process is quick, easy and automated. Anyway, I would really appreciate if you would please take a minute and…See More

Mojo,

I really appreciate your enthusiasm and support. I've been told that we are considered "Legendary",anyway,on a Worldwide basis already. But, it would be nice to be recognized in MI.

I bet the show you saw was absolutely fantastic. Wish I could have seen it.

About the only thing I can do to help is pass the word & I enjoy doing that so you're quite welcome. By your post, it looks like it was a really close call last year. I have faith, that people will do it right this time around and you'll secure your well-deserved spot in Michigan music history! Funny story about the Marvelettes, boy they are troopers & still sound like a cohesive unit with voices still in intact. They braved our Northeast PA weather to play a show in the middle of winter (at a venue that used to be a train station complete with box cars you can sit in to watch the show), arriving late, but giving a wonderful performance. They took time to storytell, interact and mingle with the crowd and one of the girls even faked a fight scene during "Don't Mess With Bill" pulling off her weave!!! Funny stuff & it was a nice night to remember.
