11 2007 Playlist

Each Month, I start a file in my iTunes that is a playlist for the tunes that catch my ear that month. I have been doing this since Feb of 2006, and each month I write a Mog post covering what I have been listening to each month… I am starting to post this write up in other spaces beyond my Mog (and if you are reading this somewhere besides Mog, you can find all the old ones at www.mog.com/iren )… cause I want to hit as many I-Balls as I can. As with any endeavor of this type this is an… Continue

Back in the Studio!

I just spent 2 days in the studio finishing off tracks for my next CD (including one song with lyrics by one of our Hidout members!) All the songs were cut live (including vocals) in the studio with no overdubs! It was fun. I have been doing this over the last few months since I got back from my Summer Tour in Cali. It has been funner than shit. I posted some demo up here (and few rough mixes) I limited myself on this record to 2, 4 or 8 tracks and songs cut primarily "Live in the Studio" (with… Continue

Your Psychotronic Movie Guide for the 21st Century

Alas, we have entered a sad new era with the passing of Michael Weldon's great Psychotronic Video magazine, but we will attempt to continue to carry the torch with constant reviews of what I've been watching:

The Richland County Public Library (Columbia, SC) for years has consistently had an amazing collection not only of weird never-published-in-the-USA books but also a video collection better than the local Blockbuster. Titles such as Al Adamson's Uncle Tom's… Continue

The Fucking Eagles...

Are a great band from the Pacific Northwest. Anyone who is on here should check them out. They have an album out called "A Million Dollars Worth Of Music" It's pretty solid 60's-infused rock n' roll.

Drummers

Is it just me or is finding one that can swing the beat, isn't in a hundred bands already, doesn't live miles away, has a schedule that gels and/or isn't a bit flaky is as rare as some diamonds around this town?

Savage Kick

Thanksgiving Party!

This show has nothing to do with turkey, but goddamn that Schlafly Pumpkin Ale is good shit. So grab a cold one, hit the mute on the hockey game on the boob tube, unbutton your trousers and kick back to the relaxing boogie-woogie sounds of The Underdogs, The Rooks, The Mummies, The New Bomb Turks, The Scientists, The Midways,…

WHAT WAVE's Dave O'Halloran plays Q&A with Pete Fink for MISTY LANE magazine (2005)

So, anyway...

We're Primasonic...from Denver, CO. Been in existence for about a year now and have our full-length debut disc scheduled for release on 01/01/08.

What kind of music do we play? Listen to the tunes and decide for yourself. Some say we have a retro punk sound, others say we sound like The Who. Some punks think we're too rock 'n roll...while some rockers say we're too "punk". Go figure.

Like everyone else in the universe we have a… Continue
