Huzzah! But be careful what you wish for!

You've outdone yourself Rev. Norb with the addition of not one , but two Vapors tunes. Nay, THREE Vapors penned songs. And thanks again for turning me on to so many other great tunes.

I never bought either of The Vapors' LPs (I assume there was never a third....Never saw it.), just the hit. I liked  some of their other songs , just never really followed them.  BUT , "TURNING JAPANESE"was a breath of fresh air , ON THE RADIO ,  in 1980 . I still like The Kings , too, I've seen them a few times. They still sound great.

Fantastic show. I'm a first-time listener and it won't be the last.  Thanks for introducing me to a lot of stuff I wasn't familiar with.  Already ordered a Parasites CD after hearing them in the podcast.  Great stuff.

Triple Huzzah!

Yeah, that first Kings album is still kind of a high school party classic. I owned a copy of "Amazon Beach" for about ten minutes...a friend gave it to me, and i was leaving his house and the album fell out of the jacket and hit the ground...it was like zero outside so it just smashed into a million pieces and that was that.

Hey Norb, that FeedPlayer wasn't working so I just deleted it. Shoot me a message here and maybe we can figure out why it wasn't working.

A good old fashioned, intimate, punk rock house show: Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) w/ Easy Action (John Brannon of Laughing Hyenas)

What are your favorite albums or songs by Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) or John Brannon (Laughing Hyenas, Negative Approach, Easy Action)?Do you have any stories of memories of these bands? They have been around a while and are pretty well-respected in their circles.Last Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of seeing a couple Michigan rock stalwarts do a rare performance at a local underground punk venue called The 3rd Death Star in…See More
