Salutations Mortals
Thought It was about time to write a new blog entry , seeing as I've been out of action for a few weeks (my broadband account ended and my monitor died but everything is up and running again) Firstly I've decided to cut down a little on the amount of songs I upload here everyday(usually it's 8 a day) to 4 a day as I see that on the main page I have tonnes of songs on playlist and really I should give other people and Artists for that matter a chance.. but I'll still be uploading daily but not so many
Anyway I'll quit yakking about myself and dedicate to some space to The Higher State as they embark on playing in Europe Heres a pic I drew about a year ago of them..(note short hair this was down to photos I had for reference at time)

Seeing as these guys come from my hometown and make excellent garage and psych music I'd thought I'd give them a special mention in my blog . I'm kind of proud that something decent originates from Folkestone I guess that most towns have there own garage band I guess that's the beauty of this scene as the references from the music you hear make you want to find out more .. I know I did when I first saw The Sheds which was The group Martin and Mole played n before they formed The Mystreated

Anyone who has an Interest in Garage Punk music and lived through the 1990s should know who these guys are I recommend there records highly..
The same should be said for The Embrooks

who Mole played and sang in... I think the cover say's it all :)
So If your lucky enough to see The Higher State this month I envy you lol Please check out there myspace page to hear some excellent new songs from there second long player you'll be doing yourself a big favour
