BACK IN STOCK (7"s)

ALARM CLOCKS - RAMONA
Back from the grave! Ohio's '60s garage punk legends return with two brand new tracks. And things get even wilder, since this single is a teaser for their upcoming 2012 full length!

COP WARMTH - COP WARMTH
The debut release from Houston, TX's newest noise mongers. Five tracks of ugly noise rock that will melt your face. Edition of 500.

DING-DONGS - 4 SONG EP
THE DING-DONGS are MARK SULTAN and BLOODSHOT BILL, two heavyweights of rock'n'roll, old friends both hailing from Montreal. Together, as the Ding-Dongs, they make rock'n'roll of the highest caliber. The real shit. Which is why Norton Records put their first album out in 2010. And why people across the globe wait patiently for this modern-day conduit to tour THAT sound. This EP has 4 songs, including 2 cover versions of great, lost rock'n'roll gems. The first 200 copies are pressed on white vinyl, followed by 500 black ones.

DIRTBOMBS - PLAY SPARKS
Talent is an asset and Detroit's Dirtbombs surely have it. To accompany their new album, We Have You Surrounded, is this brand new 7-inch single on which the band pays homage to label-mates (and one of their favorite bands) Sparks. Side A is "Sherlock Holmes" (a cut also featured on the new album) which was originally released on Sparks Angst In My Pants. Side B, available exclusively on this single, is "Nothing To Do," a song originally released on the 1975 Big Beat LP. This single comes in a handsome color picture sleeve, which also pays tribute to Sparks record covers. Tracks: Sherlock Holmes and Nothing To Do.

FROWNING CLOUDS - LOVING YOU
In this 7" you'll find tons of talent, freshness and teenage fury; 60s punk feeling, but also an acute sight set on the british rhythm & blues of the earliest Rolling Stones, Pretty Things or Downliners Sect.

GG KING - DRUG ZOO
Another new offshoot from members of CARBONAS, and if you heard their first single on Douchemaster you might even think it was the Carbonas, but this one strays pretty far from that tested sound. "Drug Zoo" finds GG KING mixing a bit of his namesake's influence with early Aussie punk, a few hints of black metal and, to really mix things up, a Box Tops cover! A few people might have heard these songs on GG's Last of the Night Wiggers demos, but here they are remixed, mastered and on vinyl.

IGGY & THE STOOGES - I GOT A RIGHT
Tracklist : I got a right/Gimme some skin. Classic Raw Power Outtakes.

WHITE STRIPES - LAFAYETTE BLUES
Record Store Day 2011 release. Reissue of their second ever release from 1998. B/w Sugar Never Tasted So Good.

WHITE STRIPES - LET'S SHAKE HANDS (USA)
Record Store Day 2011 release. Reissue of their first ever release from 1998. B/w Look Over Me Closely.

BACK IN STOCK (LPs)

ADAMYK, STEVE -BAND- - FOREVER WON'T WAIT
Trash-pop from Ottawa inspired by '70s punk, the skinny tie bands of the '80s, and the '80s and '90s garage rock revival. Comes with a download code.

BARRERACUDAS - NOCTURNAL MISSIONS
Debut album from Atlanta based garage/power pop band, featuring members of GENTLEMEN JESS & HIS MEN. Somewhere between The Heartbreakers (Thunders') and The Heartbreakers (Petty's)! Includes download.

BASEBALL FURIES - THROW THEM TO THE LIONS
Buffalo's sons and now Chicago's own the Baseballl Furies have finally finished their 4th and LAST record. Recorded by BOB WESTON at Electrical Audio. From the sorrowful, 'Left for dead,' to enraged punk blasters ilke 'Are You Going to Point Your Gun At Me?' - this record runs the whole Furies gamut. Comes with fizzkicks.com download card.

CHEAP FREAKS - BURY THEM ALL
Their sound and style is reminiscent of the best '60s US garage rock bands (Shadows Of Knight, Standells, Music Machine) and there also are touches of Detroit's '70s scene incl. MC5 and Stooges. And to top things off the band also throws in some modern punk'n'roll. Catchy and energetic! Vinyl version with download.

DEAD GHOSTS - DEAD GHOSTS
This is the first proper LP from Vancouver's DEAD GHOSTS, following a live tape turned 12-inch and a string of sold out 7-inches, and these kids knock the ball clear out of the park. A thirteen-song non-stop hit parade of jangly lo-fi garage rock bashers, with some doo wop prom breaks, country & western twangy lead work, and shuffling rhythms to get the kids shinglin' and shakin'. The perfect soundtrack to a sweaty basement dance party. The album also comes with a digital download code.

FROWNING CLOUDS - LISTEN CLOSELIER
A simple word to describe this release would be, undoubtedly, authenticity. The Frowning Clouds have the teenager fury of those lost bands from the Peebles, Nuggets and other compilations; the sound and the attitude of the earliest Rolling Stones, and their sight set on the blackest rhythm & blues. Its amazing how theyve assimilated these influences developing their own personality.

FUNGI GIRLS - SOME EASY MAGIC
The sophomore full-length from three Texas teens with previous releases on Hozac, Psychic Lunch, and Play Pinball. Their music can be described as wise-beyond-their-years garage-pop and psychedelic gaze. This album embraces a simple formula that works perfectly to distill the nuances of yesterday's overlooked visionaries into the perpetual sound of today.

HUNX & HIS PUNX - TOO YOUNG TO BE IN LOVE
Their debut studio LP. SHANNON SHAW (SHANNON & THE CLAMS) plays bass & penned three of these tracks. The first (now) girlgroup to be fronted by a flamboyant homosexual male. A mixture of 50s teenage rock'n'roll, 60s girl groups, bubblegum pop & trash rock. The vinyl version comes with a download code.

IGGY & THE STOOGES - RAW POWER: LIVE IN THE HANDS OF...
...The Fans'. Vinyl document of the Stooges destroying All Tomorrows Parties 2010.

KID CONGO & THE PINK MONKEY BIRDS - DRACULA BOOTS
The legendary KID CONGO POWERS returns to the psychedelic jungle with a stripped-down, no-frills set of volcanic songs. The premier voodoo guitarist for seminal sexy, swampy bands like GUN CLUB, NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS, and THE CRAMPS, Powers is a restless aesthete whose earlier solo efforts explored and mixed genres. With Dracula Boots, he comes back to his roots as a crackerjack guitarist playing the primitive music that inspired him-the raw sounds of garage and early Chicano rock. Includes covers of songs by Thee Midniters and Bo Diddley, and the original songs on Dracula Boots go from loud, fuzzy biker rock to a greasy rump-shaker groove; from a scary movie soundtrack to The Meters having an acid flashback.

KING KHAN & BBQ SHOW - KING KHAN & BBQ SHOW (2LP)
LP version features a one-sided 2nd disc containing the band's first demo.

LOST SOUNDS - LOST LOST (+7")
Rare and unreleased material from Memphis synth-punk supergroup featuring JAY REATARD and ALICJA TROUT. LP + 7". Includes download with bonus material.

MOJOMATICS - SONGS FOR FARAWAY LOVERS
The LP is on heavy vinyl and will come with a printed cardboard inner sleeve while the CD have the "No Place to Go" Video as bonus, directed by Slowboat films. Tracklist : 1. Why don't you leave me, 2. No place to go 3. Right or wrong 4. Leave this town 5. The last train 6. I'll be back home 7. That night in 1939 8. Stealin' Stealin' 9. Liquor Store Blues 10. A fall on the floor 11. Hard Travelin' 1:55 12. The Riverside 4:10

PACK A.D. - UNPERSONS
Epically fierce explosion of blues, punk & garage rock. Limited edition on 180 gram vinyl, coming with a download code.

PUSSY GALORE - RIGHT NOW!
Vinyl reissue of their debut full length from 1987, remastered under the supervision of JON SPENCER.

REIGNING SOUND - LOVE AND CURSES
A return in style to the soulful rockers & beautiful ballads of "Time Bomb High School".

SIC ALPS - LONG WAY AROUND TO A SHORT CUT
The new, first-time-ever-on-vinyl 2xLP reissue is somehow a "greatest hits" of the golden not-quite-decade of Sic Alps. Their music is the bright, surging sound of ye olde rock & roll radio (and the garages that tuned in), but heard through air darkened with specks of nameless obstruction. Originally issued as a CD in 2008. It collected songs that were first issued throughout the epic years of 2006 & 2007 on two 12" EPs, three 7" singles and a cassette, plus a song from a compilation CD-R and a song released nowhere else but on the ALWATAS compilation.

SULTAN, MARK - WHATEVER I WANT
Mark Sultan, better known as BBQ of one-man band and The King Khan & BBQ Show fame, has been pounding out his own stew of R&B, rockabilly, garage, doo-wop, psychedelia, punk and whatnot since he was a mere child fronting Montreals Spaceshits. Releasing a slew of albums and touring relentlessly, Sultan has established quite a reputation as a songsmith and vocalist of the highest caliber. Recently he went into the studio and ended up more than two albums worth of material. After trying to whittle it down to one LP, In The Red decided to simply release it all (well, most of it, anyway). Whatever I Want, Whenever I Want is two separate vinyl LPs and one abridged CD. This material represents Sultans most adventurous and varied songwriting to date. He ditched his normal stripped-down / lo-fi approach in favor of a more full-bodied sound and replaced his one-man recording technique with a complete band, all to stunning results. Whatever I Want, Whenever I Want features a number of his musician friends; Dan Kroha of The Gories, Erin Wood of The Spits, Cole Alexander and Jared Swilley of the Black Lips and Bradford Cox, to name a few, all contributed. It has something for everybody: soul stompers, doo-wop weepers, a dash of hardcore and even an Ultravox cover!

THEE OH SEES/TOTAL CONTROL - 2011 TOUR SPLIT LP
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, TOTAL CONTROL destroy with a wicked follow up to their first full length masterpiece 'Henge Beat'. Four new burners from the unstoppable 5 piece. Hard psych guitar based tracks and floating and dark keyboard centered pieces make this a well rounded feast for your southern hemisphere hungry ears. San Francisco repeat beaters THEE OH SEES return with 4 revised tunes. These are the live, full band versions of four faves that sweaty kids have learned how to writhe to and old chin-scratching music hoarders have proclaimed as "not bad." Producer CHRIS WOODHOUSE is at his peak performance with this recording. It's raw and all speaker-melty-and holy shit, it comes with a free download so you can pour it in your ear at the gym.
