Cookers (2001)
The best and most terrifying amphetamine psychosis drug trip story EVER. Gritty, mean-spirited hallucinogenic filmmaking about an obnoxious fugitive (Hector) and his timid burned out girlfriend (Dorena) who hole up in an abandoned house in the woods, cook meth, become paranoid as rats and descend into madness. There's only 3 characters and the acting is over-the-top. The hallucinations are almost subliminal and VERY real. The camera doesn't stand still the whole time and the whole thing packs a real visceral punch on the order of (the original) Last House on the Left. Don't miss.
