I'm no longer in the Chesterfield Kings—Band is history

I've known Kopper for mega-years and have checked out this boss site and I noticed all this stuff about me and my former band—the Chesterfield Kings—and lots of people speculating about all kinds of stuff... anyway, just to set the record straight—the LAST show the band did was on December 10th, 2009, in Rochester—after that the band just basically fizzled out...all parties moved on with their lives...me included. I was disillusioned with music, hated it almost. I just went on and played golf. I officially left the band in the early part of 2011 after a long deep freeze of not doing anything. During that dead space before I left, I started playing guitar again and accompanying myself as I did in the early 70's—this led up to a single on Mean Disposition Records (a division of Penniman Records) out of Barcelona...I took things a step further and did an album which is out NOW worldwide. For some reason I'm having a really difficult time picturing you playing GOLF... of all things to do!! GOLF??? ;)

By the way, you should put some songs up on your page here. Use your Music Player! That way we can hear what your new stuff sounds like without having to leave the Hideout to do it. :)

Hi Kopper! Ha ha! I know-I have played golf since 1959 (I was 4 when I started)-In my teens I was thinking of going semi-pro...then life took different paths...I played but it wasn't my main thing at the time over the years-then about 8 or 9 years ago I got heavy back into it--I know-funny-I went to one course and they wouldn't allow me in-said "No punks or bikers"-I was going to kick this guys ass but then they started dialing the cops...but the courses I usually play don't give a shit about that-long hair, torn up sleeveless shirts or no shirt like a savage, you know...man I LOVE golf...just fucking peaceful...really a great thing to do after going through a bunch of BS. Plus when you hit the ball 350 on a drive it's like the coolest trip. I have to figure out how to upload stuff-let me look into it!
