A l'origine imprimé en une petite édition puis retiré après un mois par l'éditeur, ce fabuleux livre "Freaks" a été indisponible pendant près de 20 ans. Il a été ramené à la vie avec de nombreuses nouvelles photos, par le célèbre éditeur des cultures marginales RE/Search puis repris par JunoBooks. Dans "Freaks" on rencontre les gens les plus étranges qui aient jamais vécu, les stars du sideshow comme the Alligator Man ou the Monkey Woman.
