Pig Nose!
A buddy had come by yesterday asking me to spend an evening jamming with his band. Very tempting! But I've been playing solely acoustic of late and the necessary change over to electric will take a little time.
What the hell! Why not give it a try? So I grabbed an electric out of the music room and the little battery-powered Pignose amp and took 'em into the library and wailed. What fun!
It's hard to imagine that so much cool sound can come out of such a little amp! True garagey grit too!
Gotta love this thing! And the SG's buckers overdrive it so that it almost becomes a mini Marshall.
Now the question is... Should I just bring the Pignose along to the session and maybe mike it?
I wonder if these younger guys have ever even seen one? In any case this is going to be a hoot!
