Actually, things are OK now, but it was a strange Spring, that's for sure! And just to add a disclaimer, these "Ballad o' Mal" episodes are loosely autobiographical (although that first set is pretty spot on!), and every lyric does not necessarily correspond to my real life. Somebody was asking me about the references to cheating, and they do not apply to my current divorce. It's just the nature of garage rock: you can't do an hour and 20 minutes of garage songs without the words "Lying," "Cheating," and/or "Running around town" occurring at least once.

Despite the occasional lyrical inaccuracies, it sounds like you've been through some serious shit for a while. Glad to hear you on the 'air' again, guy- you were missed. Keep up the great work (as you can!)

Seeing the old slinky style tunnel in the pod billboard brought back memories.  Finally getting to this edition.  I know I will enjoy so might as well type first then listen.
