"Black musicians are superiors. Their voices, their passion, their feeling,.. If not, why have we been for decades trying to copy them? In this serie of ep’s you’ll find blues, soul, R&B, R&R, and other styles created by black people.

Rock n roll is the fruitage of all the races of man largely brought together in the great American 'melting pot.'  There is a strong influence of blacks, yes, but also large strains that can be tracked to the music created by the scotch/irish in the mountainous regions of the American South, harmonic influences that come from mostly Americans of Italian descent ("doo wop"), and a host of others.

When I am not doing my own music I'm most often singing songs written by Willie Dixon, but my style is certainly not a black imitation. Its just me echoing bits of all that I have absorbed from classical through the blues and beyond.

I agree you completely, Don. Because of that, this won't be a series of eps of black music. We don't want "black imitations", because of that, there will be not only blues, soul or r&b, but also there will be garage, rockabilly, even punkrock, musics played veery few times by black people. We just want to make a tribute to black people, because yes, i like them more than white ones (but for example in the last 20 years, i think there are better bands of white people), and because we try to show the huge influence that black music has had in different kind of musics.
I think this series is different (at least is what we try) because this is not a "i want to make money with black music because is in fashion", if not we would include some of the new neo-soul bands that are proliferating all over the world  nowadays, and would sell much more records.
Hope you understand what i mean!
