Mudhoney & Man or Astroman....Yay, it's the 90s again. I have to recover from the cost of The Sonics show first. Where do they get off charging an extra $8.22 for my convenience. It wasn't anywhere near that much the last time I ordered tickets online this summer. ...oh well I paid for it. I won't do it again.
Sweet, Malty, Belgian type stuff? Yeah, me too! I like to add honey, or Demarera sugar, Ginger sometimes....Irish Moss as a clearing agent, and fresh hops (not pellets), Champagne yeast for strong brews and LOTS of time.
Yea I haven't been on here too much lately. Busy, been doing way more eating than cooking! (too much in fact) I should post some of the stuff/places I tried on my recent trip to Montreal.
Imagine if you had only 6 weeks for the jokers who run for president there to make their case. I guess it wouldn't work the same way, as it's not a parliamentary system.
Only so much of the US model they can get in here, given it's the parties that run their peeps. We have some independents, but not a lot. They hold the balance of power at present. Next time round? It will get ugly here too, donchya worry 'bout that.
In the meantime, we have the new Joey Ramone album to look forward to. Nothing like something Ramones to lift my spirits. Hey, Ho LET'S GO!
Campaign finance laws here -- govt finance of party ads -- and only 6 week campaigns are allowed.
Yup, what is spent in the US could feed millions. Cover health insurance for everybody prolly. How do those blokes look anyone in the face with any reality at all? My sympathies to you for having to endure campaign 2012.
Elections in France and Germany interesting...
In the meantime, we still have garagepunk. Unless someone decides having fun is against the bloody law!
JPMC loses 2 billion dollars in a few weeks. And only 1 person so far loses a job? Oh yeah, that US banking regulation shit is workin' really well dave! Shoulda gotten in on the banking caper....
$$$$$$$ rules still. Obama took $42m from Wall Street in the last election... I hope the Occupy people in NYC have dusted off their gear for round II. Mel
