Los Rippers aparecieron en 1992. Influenciados por la música psicodélica garaje punk de los años 60. Fue la primera banda de este género musical en los años 90 en la Argentina. The Rippers influencio a muchos músicos jóvenes a crear sus propias bandas de garaje. La banda desapareció en 1999 y se convirtio en una leyenda para la nueva generación de rockeros de garaje. 10 años más tarde la banda está lista para volver a los escenarios.
