I moved to LA but she should go out in North Park and South Park. I recommend these bars: The Tower Bar, The Casbah, Bar Pink, Live Wire and The Whistle Stop. The record store owned by Mike from Earthless is called Thirsty Moon Records. You can find their myspace page and contact them thru there. I would tell your friend to check out thirsty and their they have flyers for shows. Hope she settles in okay, if I was there I would for sure show her around!

Te gusta Earthless? One of the members of that band is the owner of my favorite record store in SD. It's called Thirsty Moon Records. The co-owner showed me this documentary on Stoner Rock once I went into the store, it was interesting given I don't know much about it. Un gusto en conocerte :)
