Dragonfly - Celestial Empire
Dutch psych band Dragonfly (formerly Beat Five, Groep 69, Group 69 Sect) painted their faces before Kiss or even Velvet Fogg.
Perhaps opening for Pink Floyd in 1967 kickstarted their interest in experiments such as this footage, mercifully edited here of the paint drying and starving Biafran scenes.
