I created this video using pix and a rough mp3 of The Abstracts 45 single just on a lark not knowing that the song had had a renaissance following its inclusion on the Essential Pebbles cd.  Suffice it to say that the response to the video (and all that has followed) surprised me and the other members of The Abstracts completely!

Thanks guys. The Abstracts seemed to be on their way down the memory hole until Greg Shaw put Always Always on Essential Pebbles II. Then Mike Dugo of `60sGarageBands sought the band out (see http://www.60sgaragebands.com/abstracts.html) and things took off. Break-A-Way Records compiled and beautifully remastered all the bands studio sessions and released a limited pressing album this past November. :)
