What got you into this in the first place?

me? ive got my Mum to blame, when i was growing up in the 70,s, she played Rollin Stones and Beatles records so i had a fairly straightforward dose.

Hearing Iggy ,MC5 and The Velvets on Radio Caroline, seeing Punks as a nipper,hearing and seeing the Mystreated .. probably many other reasons went through a dodgy thrash metal period as a 14 year old lol but somehow ended up getting into this sound in a big way :)

I have to admit that an ex-boyfriend that broke my heart introduced me to garage music and gave me my record player. I always had a not soo mainstream taste, I liked Eno and The Smiths for example. I loved garage right away and developed my own unique preferences for specific bands and songs along the way. I ended up going to see the Sonics months after we broke up and I have to say that I consider the whole situation even :)
