Primitive 2008

The Urges need a favour from all you cats out there ...

The garage-tastic Primitive Festival in Rotterdam is once again being held this coming summer & we would love to play it. Now this is where the problem lies and were you come in: the one rule that the festival organisers have is that no band can play the festival twice ... but this year they are conducting an online poll were you can vote for a previous band to play at this years event. If you log onto http://www.primitive-festival.nl/ and vote for us on the right hand side of the page we'd be very greatfull.

The Madd played previously (I think they were the band on before The Urges?) and are back again this year.
Another alternative is to add an extra member to your band and change the band name for the weekend, thus qualifying as a different band (Graham Day has played 3 times at Primtive and is back again this year in his 4th band appearing there).
I see you are only a few votes from the top though, so maybe you'll get through by right. I voted for The Satelliters months ago and the site won't let me vote again, so you'll have to do without my vote, sorry!

Yeah I've often thought about that - you can't play twice unless you're Billy Childish or Graham Day. But lets not got too fickle - I like the both of them.

I went looking for The Madd on the Primitive website but couldn't see them there? Ye sure???

I'd like to see The Hollywood Sinners added to the line up - best garage band I've seen in a long time, well except for mine that is =D

You're right, The Madd seem to be gone from the Primitive site, though they've still got it on their own website as an upcoming show.
I've seen The Hollywood Sinners a couple of times, good band but I'll get to see them again in April with your good selves at your split single launch in Dublin.

Hi Ale, yes Glasgow here =)

Hopefully our bands will get to play together this year - preferably Italy & not Dublin. Not much of a garage/surf scene here I'm afraid!

for the gig togethar....we have to make it absolutely!
Just tell us when you want to come here and we can arrange some shows.
This summer would be better becaouse here in Sardinia there are a lot of places to play in summer time.
Tell us the period you could be availiable.
We have to share more beers with you!!!!!!!

Ps: Of course, we'll vote for the Urges back at the Primitive, even if we never saw one edition of that Festival...;-D
