Whats your favourite albums from the first Punk era 76-80 ?

I love the first Clash album...so much damn energy...and it sounds today more like an English garage band than so called punk.

Yeah, I originally put out a 5 track 10 inch EP as a tribute to the Redskins, 500 copies on red vinyl. Then a few years later I put out a CD which included 4 tracks off the EP.

I don't know if you've already seen them but I've posted a few videos of the Redskins on YouTube. They can be found in the Redskins group -

I thought that Damned Damned Damned was the best ever from the Damned or any other band. Until they came with Machine Gun Etiquette. I think it's out of the era that's in the original question but never the less it's on the same level and a league on its own.

it's amazing when the 80's hit and punk(for the most part) just went south. except for those few great albums. thank goodness for thrash and hardcore in the 80's. dri, suicidal, cro-mags, anthrax, slayer, ect...
ohh yeah...the bad brains where prety good punk band. they had there moments.
