Is it me or did the old forum appear to have more discussions going on?

Yeah. IMO the old forum space was easier to navigate and use. There's just too much "stuff" on the new site to wade through to get to the discussions. Not trying to be critical because this is a great site - it's just that forums aren't as user friendly as the old one, discussion-wise.

It was much easier on the old site to see the list of topics, what was new. Also, I wonder what percentage of the people that were signed up to the old site have registered on this one?

At least this site has the option of photos, profiles etc.
The 'old' one was more or less just a bunch of names, and usually not someone's 'true' name either. One thing I don't miss (much) was the little one-on-one squabbles that would dominate some threads.

Me neither, I dig the extra options and the more personal touch you can bring but I am finding it harder to talk to people about stuff unless I have them as friends.

this sites got loads more on it, its easier to put pictures on and the players are great, the musics so much more accessible . people tend to message more on each others pages it seems.
