Tangerine Puppets...
...Johnny and Tommy Ramone's pre-Ramones band circa 1967. I understand they recorded a couple songs and I was recently perusing a library book called Punk: The Whole Story which mentions a 45 being released on a small private label. No mention of the label's name or how many might have been pressed.
I've read other books/crap online that mention the Tangerine Puppets and recordings thereof but I've never heard of an actual single being released.
It seems like a pre-ramones songs would be something alot of people would want to hear, even if they are terrible. So why hasn't it been re-issued, comped, bootlegged, etc?
And was there really a 45?
