Happy graduation

I saw the Growlers on Saturday, danced on stage etc and went home with the lead singer of "Some Days" who is 27 mind you I'm 18. What fun, what a night. Hung out with hipsters all night. I finally found the local hipsters, and guess what-They're all COKE AND METH ADDICTS! Hey, they have good music taste and the "bros" across the street got beaten to death (not literally) by the cops. I graduate from high school tomorrow, wish me luck!

Graduation party with a punk band?

After I graduate my friend is hosting a show at her house and Charlie & The Moonhearts are playing. Going to be interesting, she's going to host a bunch all this summer. Oh yeah, tonight is my senior prom and I didn't go. I also never attended any of the dances haha, there was a live swing band tonight too. Instead I'm analyzing all the Psych aspects of "Rebel Without A Cause" for class.
I dunno,… Continue

Georgia

I was in Georgia Thurs-Sunday and all I must say is.... I got stared at consistently for my "repulsive" outfits which consisted of mini-dresses and tights, which is pretty conservative where I live in California. Crazy southerners, you make the Black Lips look bad! I was hoping for a garage rock scene or something of similar matter, but there's nothing in Savannah except a creepishly-expanding-corrupted art school called SCAD which has a very dark past. (teacher set himself on fire, two students… Continue

YES

I graduate high school in about a month! Crazy to think about this, really. I've been listening to a lot of The Sonics, and Troggs and Small Faces. I've been trying to find something on Richard Columbus and The Invaders, for they had a song "She's a Mod" and "Till We Kissed" (I got the Guess-Who version) But lately I've fell in love with Al green..."How to mend a broken heart" pure love right there. I have my AP Psych exam on Tuesday, I can't seem to be able to remember anything from the schoo… Continue

"Double Yellow Line" is ace! Hmm, I think I'm going to make a mix of "driving" songs like that. That'd might be fun to listen to in the car.

Wow! That's pretty cool. I'm no drummer, but I've heard the drumming in "Talk Talk" is pretty sophisticated. Listening to those stop/start sections I can believe it.
