Hey,
This week Rocky and Deena opened up the dustbin and found a ton of top-notch trashy treats, mostly from the UK. Artistes included Thee Milkshakes, Thee
Mighty Caesars, Thee Headcoats, Thee Headcoatees, the Del monas, the Masonics, the Kravin' A's, the Canibals, Shakin' Spear and the Captives, Mr. Zero,

Hey,
This week Rocky and Deena paid tribute to the recently-departed Jerry Wexler, the Atlantic Records mogul and producer who originally coined the term Rhythm
and Blues. Here's how we went frantic for Atlantic:
Big Joe Turner—Shake Rattle & Roll (Wexler on backing vocals)
Don Covay—Bip Bop Bip
The Clovers—Your Cash Ain’t Nothin’ But Trash
LaVern Baker and Jimmy Ricks—You’re the Boss
*The Smugglers—That is Rock and Roll
Richie Barrett—Some Other Guy
*The Gruesomes – Unchain My Heart

Hey,
This week Rocky and Deena mixed it up starting with Asheton Brothers' Stoogemania via New Race and Sonic's Rendezvous Band followed by Cancon courtesy of
Teenage Head, the Green Hour Band and the Sparrow. We featured vintage metal masters Judas Priest and Motorhead and also popped some bubblegum with Dino,

pre-Stooge groups (the Iguanas and the Prime Movers) and of course a few Canadian Stoogey-sounding spins. And yes, we know there are more than Three Stooges!

Hey,
This week Rocky and Deena presented a razorback-sharp look at the lost and found souls of rock and roll from Arkansas along with other swingin' southern
fried sounds. A couple lucky listeners even won copies of the terrific feature compilation called Lost Souls Vol. 1: Garage and Psychedelic Rock & Roll
from Arkansas, 1965-1971, courtesy of the fine folks at
www.psychofthesouth.com
Along with the lost Souls, Yardleys, Coachmen, the Blue and the Gray, Marion Deaton Group, Xciters, G…
